Mackinac Island

My first solo project, this is the result of my collaboration with Mackinac State Historic Parks. These two videos were 100% produced by me over the course of the Summer of 2023.

A very intensive project, these videos involved planning, writing, shooting, and editing entirely by myself. I spend several weeks shooting on Mackinac Island and faced numerous challenges to acquire the footage I needed.

Since I was filming during the height of tourist season on Mackinac, this project provided the unique challenge of having to interact with a variety of people, especially when shooting the Fort Experiences video.

Overall, the results of my first videos without the support of an academic institution are ones I am pleased with and hope to do more like it in the future.
